Our Super Baltar lens set has been rehoused by Van Diemen Optics in the UK, featuring fully modern mechanics and smooth focus pulling with a full conversion to PL mounts so we can use them in all of our modern digital cameras such as REDs and Alexas.
These lenses are known for having a very distinctive vintage look with neat flare characteristics. Taking a classic lens like this and pairing it with a modern cinema camera will really differentiate your style and set you apart as a cinematographer by giving you that unique vintage look without too much extra effort.
The lenses have solid end stops at iris position fully open and fully closed. The focus movement also has solid end stops at each end of the full movement, along with industry standard drive gears for focus and iris at a fixed element throughout the series.
